Welcoming Ceremony

The University of Tlemcen through the CASAM cell (accompaniment and support to students with special needs cell) out coming from the Tempus Tempus UMEI (Maghreb University: Inclusive Education), held Thursday, October 22, 2015 a welcoming ceremony in the honor of the new students in different disciplines for the academic year 2015-2016.

The ceremony was held at the Faculty of Letters and foreign languages, and gathered the parents of new students and the Vice Rector for External Relations itself member of the CASAM, the NOUR AL AIN association for the promotion of blind in which Madam Khedim is President accompanied by several members and guests from the national office coming from Algiers, teachers from different faculties, representatives on a national level of blind in the wilaya of Tlemcen.

The ceremony was an opportunity for new students to integrate into the academic world and share with all students, and was also an awareness day on the occasion of the international day of the white cane through work which continued right after the ceremony. NOUR AL AIN the association coordinates its actions with the University of Tlemcen, last year similar activities were held at the Faculty of Science.

The interventions of each other toward this important category in society and the university have provided moral support and establish a climate of trust and insurance of support and assistance that would promote the right conditions for studies and success while insisting on the principle of equal opportunities.
